How We Work

We bring all cleaning materials

If you find that you have spent too much time sitting on your tuches or you are just an extremely busy person who needs a little help from a company that will come in like a whirling dervish, leaving your house spotless and cleaner than even your mother-in-law could leave it, then you need Rent-a-Yenta.

What You Can Expect

When you contract with us, there are a few things that you can expect, and they include the following:

  • We work in crews of one, two or three house cleaners at a time.
  • We bring all of the cleaning products and materials needed for the job.
  • We are licensed, bonded, and insured.
  • We charge $50 per house cleaner, per hour.
  • We clean an average 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house or apartment in about an hour with a crew of three house cleaners (first-time cleaning jobs might take a little longer).
  • We custom house clean according to your needs.

Kitchen and Bathrooms

As a proud homeowner, you want your home spic and span, and every area counts; but let’s face it, the rooms that matter the most to keep your reputation up to par are the kitchen and bathrooms. You need these rooms in immaculate condition at all times, and you can have exactly that with our cleaning professionals. Our kitchen services include the following:

  • Clean the tops of all the counters
  • Clean the sink
  • Clean the outside of all the major appliances and the inside and outside of the microwave
  • Vacuum and mop the kitchen floor
  • Cleaning the inside of the fridge and or oven will take longer

Our bathroom services include the following:

  • Vacuum and clean the floor
  • Clean and disinfect the toilet
  • Scrub and disinfect shower, tub, and tile
  • Clean all windowsills and baseboards
  • Clean all cobwebs from the corners
  • Clean wood floors with vinegar and water
  • Cleaning inside the drawers, cupboards and shelves will take longer

Office Cleaning

You have enough to do at the office, which is why Rent-a-Yenta will come and clean your Seattle, Bellevue or Mercer Island business to ensure your office is super clean and up to the high standards you keep. Please note that we clean only during regular business hours and do not clean after hours or on weekends.

Condominium and Apartment Building Common Areas

There’s always the mutual mess that people leave behind and don’t want to claim responsibility for, but someone’s got to do it! Rent-a-Yenta is here to keep these common areas tidy enough for even the most persnickety of your visiting relatives to nod their approval.

Move Out Cleaning

As you stand amidst the rubble of boxes, bubble wrap, and all of that extra “stuff” you’ve collected since your last move, you realize that you might just go crazy by the end of the packing, moving, and cleaning. So, as you stand there, trying to decide whether it is actually worth it to take any of your possessions with you or whether it might be more refreshing to just bulldoze the place, your spouse gently pulls you from your frantic haze with a suggestion to just finish moving and then let the professionals take care of the cleaning. Kitchen Cleaning

Our kitchen cleaning for all move-outs in the Seattle area includes the following services:

  • Clean inside and out of all kitchen cabinets and drawers
  • Wipe down inside and outside of refrigerator and oven (Please note that ovens need to be prepped before we can clean them.)
  • Wipe down the counters and clean the sink
  • Vacuum and wash the floors

Bathroom Cleaning

We clean the bathrooms until they are sparkling clean, including the following services:

  • Clean the inside and outside of all drawers, cabinets, and built-in shelves
  • Scrub down and disinfect the shower, tub, and tiles
  • Clean the floor, carefully making sure we clean around the toilet, etc.
  • Vacuum and wash all the floors: If there are wood floors, we vacuum and then wash with vinegar and water.
  • Wipe down all the windowsills and baseboards
  • Wipe down closet shelves and vacuum closet floors

Optional Cleaning

Please specify if you want any of these tasks done when you call to schedule your cleaning service. Please note, certain tasks add a significant amount of time and you would be wise to keep this in mind when you factor the amount of time you leave for cleaning after you move out.

  • Clean inside of windows: We clean only outside windows that have access without using ladders.
  • Clean off blinds.
  • Wipe down marks on the walls: Unfortunately, there are certain types of walls that we do not wipe down, so talk to us when you call to schedule if you desire this service.
